Go to the Arrange tab and click Write New Problem.
In the editor, type the question and press Enter to start a new line.
In the editor toolbar, click Table.
In the dialog box, enter up to 8 rows and set the columns to 2. You can also adjust the other options for Layout, Borders, and Headers/Labels.
Click OK at the bottom of the dialog box.
In the newly created table, fill in the left column with the descriptions to match the answer choices to. Fill in the right column with the choices that will make up the answers.
Right-click the table and select Table Properties from the pop-up menu. In the Interactive tab, select Dot Connect from the menu.
Fill in the Answer field with the correct letter-number pairings. You can think about this as matching letter columns on the left to number columns on the right. Then adjust the two spacing options if necessary.
Problem-Attic will compile the Dot Connect table column by column, so there’s no need to worry if the number of items in each column doesn’t match.
Click OK at the bottom of dialog box to make the table interactive.
In the editor, click Online Test Preview to see how the dot connect question will look and behave in an online test. When you are done, close the Preview, then then click Save.
