Notes

This bank contains questions from the ATX Science Olympiad. Each event is presented in it entirety. Questions are also organized by subject: Biology, Earth Science, Physics, Technology, and Inquiry.

ATX has been hosting tournaments since 2013. The Science Olympiad is “a national academic competition in which teams of 15 middle or high schoolers compete in 23 different events covering topics from anatomy to engineering to electronic circuits in groups of 2–3. Events may involve taking a test, conducting a lab, building a device, or any combination of the three.” For more information, please visit this page.

This bank is one of two Science Olympiads found on Problem-Attic, the other one is NCSO. These Olympiads are meant to stimulate interest in various scientific disciplines through collegial competition, encourage participants to think of their futures beyond high school, and honor those students who demonstrate outstanding mastery of science.
