These questions were developed by New Visions as part of its high school science curriculum for Biology, Earth and Space Science, and Physics. In Problem-Attic, we’ve kept them organized by unit and by the New Visions themes, such as “Unit 5: Solutions for a Sustainable Future”.
Founded in New York City in 1989 as New Visions for Public Schools, the organization’s goal is “to create quality educational options for students in under-resourced neighborhoods.” In 2013, New Visions began developing curriculum for high school science, and re-designed much of it after New York State adopted new learning standards (NYSSLS). In Problem-Attic you'll find both pre-2019 work, which is referred to as the “Archive”, and the newer material.
